The woodworker in the video is supremely talented, creating his own stencils for the body and measuring them to near perfection. Using little more than wood and fasteners, plus a generous splash of glue, the artist forms the base, the intricate wheels, the fascias, the grilles, and even the famous BMW badge all from wood.
That wood is sustainably sourced too, as he likes to use material from discarded trees rather than cutting down a living member of the forest. Astonishingly, everything is produced by hand, with power tools only used where absolutely necessary. Even the functioning steering rack is a remarkable feature, and the creation should last a long time thanks to bearings and shafts that look very strong.
