Twice a year in April and October, over-the-air software updates will keep the infotainment and nav systems fresh. The Bluelink connected car setup enables owners to control certain vehicle functions like temperature control, seating position, and receive system status notifications from the dedicated smartphone app. Remote Charging can be also be controlled on this app.
Sales will begin this fall initially at dealerships in the 10 zero-emissions states along with Texas, Florida, Illinois, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Arizona. Alternative ownership models, specifically a subscription service, will be offered at a later date. An expanded rollout will happen in 2022. No pricing details just yet but we expect the base model to begin at around $37,000.
