The front lip spoiler and front canards, side skirts, and rear under spoiler are all manufactured from woven carbon fiber, but will almost go unnoticed compared to the massive dual spoiler. Not only is there a carbon fiber ducktail extension, but also a tall GT wing to round out the HKS Type S body kit. We haven’t seen how much the interior has been upgraded, but the company has confirmed that a range of accessories including a dry carbon shift knob and hand brake cover will be available.
There’s no word yet when customers will be able to purchase these upgrades, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see these available within weeks of the GR 86’s local market launch. Because they’re mechanically identical, we also suspect all upgrades will also work on the new Subaru BRZ.
