Although Block used the Impreza for an insane stunt on TV, it is a pure, and now vintage, Subaru race car. It’s a 2002 model built and rally prepped by Vermont SportsCar, the same team that made Travis Pastrana’s current competition car for the Subaru Rally Team USA. The team also gave it the 2006 “hawkeye” headlight upgrade, and, in its day, the naturally aspirated boxer engine made 304 hp and 311 ft-lb of torque. There’s no reason to believe that number will have dropped over the years as the advert says Block has kept it in his climate-controlled warehouse in Utah, and it is it’s being given a once-over before his rally crew before the auction is complete.
There’s no telling how much it will go for, but Block’s Ford Focus RS RX went for a stunning $200,000 recently.
