Fortunately, no injuries were reported and people in the grandstands are said to have approached the driver of the truck with some of his engine components asking for an autograph. It seems everyone saw this as a great spectacle, but it is truly remarkable that nobody was injured. In fact, one of the pistons left the engine at such a high rate of speed that it hit signage above the grandstand, puncturing it. A billet block is supposedly being considered for future builds, but either way, it seems that the tuners will reach their goal of 3,000 horses soon – on their home dyno, they achieved over 2,700 hp. Let’s just hope they can keep those ponies contained in future.
