This 1-to-1 replica does not have that 1,000-hp hybrid system, as it’s for display purposes only. Porsche built a series of these full scale models for promotional events, races, car shows, the Porsche Experience Center and the museum in Stuttgart, Germany. They were also used by sponsors at their own events.
And this is an exact replica. Porsche used CAD data from the LMP1 race car, and its livery was applied by Becker Design. This is 1 of 13 replicas built, the only in 2014, and it wears the livery of the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning 919, driven by Earl Bamber, Nick Tandy and Nico Hulkenberg.
