The use of thinner glass, reduced sound-deadening material, and the removal of the rear seat have all been implemented to save weight. The only other detail we can pick up in the teaser is a section of the new, slim, wraparound taillights. Lightly disguised versions of the new GT3 show that it’ll sport the same full-length light bar fitted to lesser versions of the latest 911, along with a centrally-mounted dual-exit exhaust outlet. On the new hood, there are two new vents, while the headlights appear to be darkened for a sportier aura than the regular 911.
All will be revealed on February 16 (a week tomorrow) when the newest GT Porsche is fully revealed in a livestream event.
