According to Boris Apenbrink, director of Exclusive Manufaktur Vehicles, Porsche has put a lot of thought and effort into the new range, which some might find a bit puzzling. “We use oxidation processes for the paint to get to a very rusty and authentic look. Everyone knows about our ‘paint to sample’ offering, but now we want to go one step further and offer ‘patina paint to sample’. I would definitely call it the future of individualization, inspired by the past” he says.
Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur has already put a 911 Carrera through the Patina process, and it looks, well, old and rusty. Let’s see those brand new 911 GT3s line up.
