We also get a look inside the new Porsche Macan’s interior, which is upgraded with a redesigned center console carrying over from the updated Cayenne featuring touchpads that replace the old console’s physical buttons. The buttons positioned below the navigation screen are also removed, giving the dashboard a cleaner look, and the steering wheel looks like it’s been borrowed from the Porsche Panamera facelift.
Technical specifications for the updated Macan remain unknown, but we’re expecting engine options from the current model to carry over including a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 248 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque, a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 producing 348 hp and 354 lb-ft, and a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 good for 375 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. The updated Porsche Macan is expected to debut later this year before the new electric version arrives in 2022.
