Other than that change, we don’t expect the production Nissan Z – initially believed to be called the 400Z – to differ from the Z Proto Concept significantly. The same muscular profile, headlights, and dual-exit tailpipes should all be there. Rumors indicate that the new Nissan Z will start at under $35,000 and that it will be powered by a twin-turbo V6 powerplant with 400 horsepower. Both a six-speed manual gearbox and a nine-speed automatic should be available. All of these details should be confirmed in August when the new Nissan Z is finally revealed in all its glory.
