Inside, new options include a heated steering wheel, lane departure warning, and stop-and-go for the adaptive cruise control. Rear parking sensors are newly standard while the 8.8-inch central infotainment display gets redesigned with a new operating display boasting fresh graphics and, for the first time, Live Widgets. New color modes for the driver’s displays are also offered. Lounge mode gives you relaxing shades of blue and turquoise, while Sport gives you red and anthracite tones. These color modes can also be linked to driving modes, turning things red and gray when you switch to Sport driving mode. Finally, Mini has added Island Blue metallic and Rooftop Grey metallic paint options.
Whatever happens next for JCW, this hot hatch looks better than ever. Pricing and on-sale date are to be announced in due course.
