The thing you’re looking at is called the Sorpasso, and it’s available in two guises: Stradale and GTXX. Both feature a V10 engine and all-wheel-drive, just like a Huracan, but while the former produces 602 horsepower, the latter produces as much as 799 hp thanks to a supercharger – something you’d have to add to a Huracan. The similarities between the two cars pretty much end there, as the GTXX is made from carbon fiber and weighs just 2,866 pounds. This makes it capable of 0-62 mph in just 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 214 mph.
Unfortunately, only the Stradale has been revealed so far, with FV Frangivento promising “a more aggressive look” for the GTXX thanks to a large rear wing and other aero aids. We doubt any of these changes will improve the aesthetic, sadly, despite co-founder and art director Giorgio Pirolo’s claim that this car is inspired by icons like the Ferrari Dino and Lamborghini Miura.
