Based on recent spy shots, we’ve known for a while now that Jeep is working on a facelift for the Compass. The 2022 Jeep Compass faces new competition from the Ford Bronco Sport, so it desperately needs updates to remain competitive. After several teasers, Jeep finally revealed the 2022 Compass, but there’s a catch. These changes only apply to the European market model, at least for now. We expect these updates to eventually arrive on the US-market cars.
The Compass has been around since 2017, and this new 2022 model massages the familiar styling ever so slightly. It includes a larger grille and redesigned lights, giving it a slightly more modern aesthetic. Keep in mind, these are the European models, which might explain why the red Trailhawk doesn’t have tow hooks in the front.
