Under the hood, the QX55 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque and a variable compression ratio that can improve the fuel economy or performance depending on the driver’s requirements.
Three trims for the QX55 are available: Luxe, Essential, and Sensory. The base model is generously equipped, with wireless Apple CarPlay support, 20-inch wheels, heated front seats, a power-sliding tinted glass moonroof, and all-wheel drive offered as standard.
Be prepared to pay a premium for the QX55’s coupe styling, though. Starting at $46,500 excluding destination and handling charges, the QX55 is around $9,000 more expensive than the regular QX50.
