From these new teaser images, we can tell that the G70 Shooting Brake will look different from the GV70 crossover and the G70 sedan. At the rear, the glass appears to wrap around the side towards the C-pillar, likely aiding visibility out of the back. This design is unique from the GV70, where the C-pillar is the rearmost element on the side profile. At the front, the G70 Shooting Brake looks similar to the sedan.
We suspect the shooting brake will use the same engines found in the sedan: a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 252 horsepower or a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 with 365 hp. It’s unclear if Genesis will offer this model with rear-wheel-drive, all-wheel-drive, or both.
