The incredible GT350 may be gone for 2021, but it’s been replaced by the similarly-cool 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This new model starts at $52,720, but we opted to configure the Mach 1 Premium for $54,315. Twister Orange is once again the most expensive color. However, Fighter Jet Grey actually helps create the most expensive Mach 1 because it’s the only hue available after equipping the $1,000 Mach 1 Appearance Package, which adds Ebony/Orange decals, orange brake calipers, and orange seatbacks.
Other options available on the Mach 1 include a 10-speed automatic transmission for $1,595 to replace the standard six-speed manual, Mach 1 Elite Package for $1,295 with a 12-speaker B&O audio system, Magnetic-painted wheels for $395, and a $395 vehicle cover. Fully-loaded, we optioned the Mach 1 up to $61,185. For reference, the outgoing Shelby GT350 started at $59,140 but could get considerably more expensive with options.
