While it isn’t known when the mid-cycle update will go on sale, the same sources claim the interior will be revamped as part of a separate update “fixing the array of buttons and switches cascading down the buttress on the right side of the center console.” This update will reportedly be applied to the 2023 model year Corvette, so it could launch later next year.
No other details were provided, so it’s unclear if every button will be removed or if they will be relocated. To refine the interior, some of the functions currently controlled by buttons and switches could be operated by the touchscreen instead in the 2023 model. Other interior changes are also reportedly planned as part of the update, but nothing is official yet.
