Cadillac recently introduced the 2022 CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwings, but they don’t feature their namesake engine.
Instead, Cadillac’s twin-turbo 4.2-liter Blackwing V8 will remain exclusive to the CT6-V which had a limited production run of 600 units.
The combination of performance and exclusively could make the CT6-V a future classic and, if that’s the case, you might want to consider buying this car that will be auctioned by Mecum next month.

Showing just 1,017 miles (1,637 km) on the odometer, this 2020 CT6-V features a crystal white tri-coat exterior and looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. Besides being in great shape, the car has a panoramic glass roof, a four-tailpipe exhaust system and 20-inch V-Series wheels. Other highlights include a black mesh grille and a sporty body kit that helps to distinguish the V-Series from the more mainstream CT6.
Moving into the cabin, there’s jet black leather seats with heating, ventilation and massage up front. The model also features carbon fiber trim, a digital instrument cluster and a 10.2-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation.
Other highlights include a heated leather steering wheel, a wireless smartphone charger and a 34-speaker Bose Panaray audio system. There’s also an assortment of driver assistance systems including adaptive cruise control, forward collision alert, lane keep assist and a night vision system.
Power comes from the aforementioned twin-turbo 4.2-liter V8 that produces 550 hp (410 kW / 558 PS) and 640 lb-ft (868 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. The model also has active rear steering, magnetic ride control and a limited-slip rear differential.
There’s no auction estimate, but the 2020 CT6-V started at $94,895 before the $995 destination charge and $1,300 gas guzzler tax were factored in.
