Alpina’s updated SUVs also benefit from adaptive dampers specifically calibrated for the XD3 and XD4, and stiffer lower springs that lower the center of gravity should improve the driving dynamics. As standard, the XD3 and XD4 ride on 20-inch wheels, which can be upgraded to a set of 22-inch alloys. Inside, the luxurious interior can be customized with different piping, stitching, and embroidery options.
In Germany, the 2022 Alpina XD3 starts at 85,900 euros ($104,500), while the XD4 is priced from 89,100 euros ($108,400). Customer deliveries begin in November, but the XD3 and XD4 won’t be sold in the US. Instead, Alpina sells the X7-based XB7, the 8 Series Gran Coupe-based B8 Gran Coupe, and the 7 Series-based B7 in America.
